Support the children of the Extra Mile Club and make a difference
A 501c3 non-profit organization was established in 2008. There was a need to do something in Beaufort, South Carolina to create some positive alternatives and try to change the stereotypical images of the young men and women in the community. The goal of the Extra Mile Club is to build character, self-esteem, leadership skills, confidence, and respect for self and others.
The Extra Mile Club (EMC) provides mentoring to youth ages 6-17. EMC has taken a wholistic approach to mentoring by offering mentoring, tutoring, bible study, community service projects, the children attend camps and they visit colleges. Our youth ages 6-12 participate in AAU Sports. All of our coaches, mentors and volunteers must have an annual background check.
